Tomorrow (Jan. 23) will be our Tet celebration at 7:30 in the Ohio Union Traditions Room. We will provide the traditional dish bánh chưng and games for all to enjoy.  VSA wishes you a wondeful New Year, chúc mừng năm mới!

Also, visit the VSA table at the annual Taste of OSU to try some traditional Vietnamese dishes along side other culture group dishes for $1 each in the Archie Griffin Ballroom in the Union on Friday, January 27 from 5-9PM.

1st Winter Meeting

Winter break is over, but VSA is here to pick it right back up with our first meeting of the quarter on Monday, January 9. The informal meeting will begin at 7:30 PM in the Ohio Staters room in the Ohio Union and will pertain to the spring culture show and other upcoming events. So join us for some discussion and food. Also, Pho Night is still on January 13 from 4-9PM in the OSU Royer Living Room in the Royer Activity Center. I suggest coming early to grab a seat and save some waiting time. Get ready to get your pho on!

Save The Date

VSA’s annual Pho Night has been moved to winter quarter. So keep your body warm and your hunger satiated with a bowl of homemade pho, a traditional Vietnamese noodle soup dish. The event is to be held on Friday, January 13th. More information will follow.

Update

Thank you to all who had attended our first meeting/Spring Roll Night and the Moon Festival collaboration. Both had a great turnout! Up next is a casual Ice Cream Social with members of VSA as well as the Chinese American Student Association tomorrow at 7:30 in the Ohio Staters Room at the Ohio Union. Afterall, who doesn’t want to finally celebrate nice Ohio weather with a free chilly treat?
